Reaching Out

Acts 10:38 says: (MSG)

"Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him".

Jesus was consumed with reaching out to those who were oppressed or beaten down by the devil. Moved by compassion he made it His life’s mission, while on earth, to heal people and set them free from every bondage of the enemy.

Through local evangelistic crusades, conferences or outreaches to the poor, we have endeavoured as much as possible to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and hurting world. In our various events we at Finishing Strong together with 1-In 1-Out Charity and Community Developers,  have attempted to communicate the gospel through evangelistic altar calls; one-on-one evangelism; anointed worship; giving of Bibles; giving of hot meals; grocery hampers; blankets and clothing to the poor.

Without our association with Stephen and Ruth Thomas, the founders and Directors of 1-In 1-Out Charity and Community Developers, none of these outreaches would have been possible. We value our partnership with them and recognize and admire the passion and the calling that they have upon their lives in ‘making poverty history’ in the lives of so many of the disadvantaged in our nation.

Finishing Strong gives 10% of its monthly income to 1-In 1-Out Charity and Community Developers and is committed to helping the poor, the hurting and destitute! For more information on 1-In 1-Out Charity and Community Developers or to get involved in any of their outreaches on a monthly basis – visit their website on: www.1in1out.za.org
